Meet the Staff

Samina Tayebali

Owner

Master Colorist, Color correction expert, Balayage Master, Wedding Updos Pro.
Samina has been in this industry for over 25 years and hair is her life and she has been
a Wella Master Color Expert since 2017. But her education doesn’t stop there; she has
been educated under TIGI, Rusk, Moroccan Oil, Nioxin, Martin Parsons, Nick Arrojo,
and so much more. Her continuing education never stops because she is always
searching for new ways, new trends to feel alive and transfer that energy to each client
that sits in her chair. With her detailed consultations there’s no room for
miscommunication. Whether it’s a classic bob, vivid color, lived-in texture or a totally
new vibe, nothing scares her. Doing hair isn’t just her job, it’s her favorite kind of chaos.
She lives for transformations, the moment when a client sees their new hair in the mirror
and can’t stop smiling. Outside of work she likes to read, travel, paint and enjoy time
with her family.

Joey Tart

Stylist

Joey has been with eSTee Salon since 2021. First training with Samina as her
assistant while finishing hair school. Joey graduated from Paul Mitchell the School of
Raleigh in 2022. Joey specializes in Balayage and Brazilian Blowout. He is a very go-
with-the-flow type of stylist who’s always down to trying something new. Whether you’re
dreaming of a bold transformation or just want to freshen things up, he’s here to make it
happen in a chill, judgement free space. He loves working with clients who aren’t afraid
to have a little fun with their look. When he’s not in the salon you can find him spending
time in his new house with his adorable dog, Arthur.

Mary Craig

Stylist

Mary is our newest addition to our salon. She graduated from Paul Mitchell the
School of Raleigh in 2020. She has loved this journey of doing hair for 5 years now. She loves doing hair but more importantly she loves all the connections she gets to make
with clients along the way. Your hair goals become her hair goals, and she strives to
create a trusting relationship between both the guest and her. She wants to make sure
each client feels like they are being heard and that they are always on the same page.
She takes pride in her work so that her guest leaves feeling confident. Come take a seat
in her chair and get to know her!

Sarah Bolin

Salon Coordinator

Sarah is the friendly face who keeps our salon running smoothly. With her
excellent combo of organization and charm, Sarah is your go-to for booking
appointments, answering questions and making sure you feel right at home the moment
you walk through our doors. Always upbeat and ready with a smile (and a great playlist),
she keeps the energy light and the schedule tight. She has a degree in communications
and worked in St. Thomas as a medical emergency dispatcher. She has worked in
several salons in the area but found her salon home here at eSTee Salon in 2019.


Policies

CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULING/NO SHOWS
We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice in advance either by text or phone if you
need to CANCEL or RESCHEDULE unless there is an emergency which we all can
have sometimes in our lives which we completely understand. If this happens, please

contact us so that we can immediately reschedule your service. We send out several
text confirmations to remind you of your appointment to avoid missing your
appointment. This is our bread and butter so NO SHOWS are not appreciated and will
be charged Up to 50% of the booked service to secure a future visit with us. This open
slot creates a missed opportunity for a stylist to fill with another client from their waiting
list. For Any services booked out for 3 hours or more, we require up a nonrefundable
deposit of 50% of the service which will go towards the service performed on the day of.

LATE ARRIVALS
Arriving at your appointment at the scheduled time is very crucial, otherwise it will delay
the next client’s appointment. We allow a 15-minute grace period, any later will have to
be rescheduled.

REFUNDS
We do not give refunds once the service has been performed. If the guest is happy
when they leave but the next day decides that’s not what they wanted, then we cannot
provide a free service as a color correction. You can reschedule and we can change it to
your liking at a full regular price. We understand that sometimes there can be
miscommunications between a stylist and guest and the outcome was not as expected.
Then it is our duty to address the problem immediately, but we need the guest to inform
us within 48 hrs.
We DO NOT give refunds on retail purchases. You are welcome to exchange them for
an equivalent price or pay the difference. Exchanges are allowed if you bring them back
within 14 DAYS of purchase

PAYMENT
We do not take personal checks. Payment can be made by credit cards, debit cards, or
cash. You may leave a tip for the stylist in the form of cash, venmo or the square app.
