Welcome to Estee Salon! Many people have wondered where the salon name came from. It is literally Samina Tayebali’s initials spelled out. ST translating to eS-Tee. Hence the two capitalized letters in the middle of the salon. eSTee Salon. It’s a name that reflects her persona. Simple yet intriguing and humbled. Her vision was to create a high-end salon where the guest can experience luxury and feel at ease and comfort while at the salon. She also wanted all the stylists to get continuing education so that clients can get the top-notch service. She always wanted to create a professional environment where stylists are team players, and nobody is afraid to ask another stylist for advice when in doubt. Ultimately our goal is for a client to leave with stunning results and is a happy customer. She also wanted to have different stylists from different backgrounds and different ethnicity to have a melting pot just like how United Staes of America is. Different backgrounds help stylists grow and learn from each other which makes the salon very diverse and have a sense of community. Samina was originally raised in Tanzania and moved here to united states at the age of 20. After a few years of being a stay-at-home mom and having an urge to do something different, she began her new adventure. It’s a decision that she has never regretted because she loves every minute of the day when she is behind the chair.
